NEW PR AND MORE * * Well today's a big day and I didn't even realize it lol. It's officially been a YEAR since I started this page which originally was for me to be on top of myself more and to actually be able to see my progression. And that's definitely noticable in my legs and squat. * * I finally did it and hit 315 on squat I've tried for it before but this time around it felt infinitely smoother going up and down. To the point where I was even tempted to slap some 5s on it but I chose to just cap off there. From the start of this page I was struggling with 185+lbs, the form was bad, I got stuck in the "squat hole" a lot and just didn't really enjoy squatting but something just clicked to now a year later exactly I hit 315 pretty damn clean. * * Making this page was mainly for me but I've even had friends who I put into working out years ago hit me up and thank me for helping them so this only motivates me more. Did some math after one year in the gym and the results surprised me positively 😊 I did weight lifting 4 times a week and I used cardio only as a warm up for 5 minutes. Today I know that these results are unachievable with any type of cardio trainig. Unfortunately it burns very little calories and doesn’t leave you with nice body shape. On the other hand the more muscle mass you are having, the more calories your body burns every day, so your diet can be less strict 😊 The most difficult thing on this? Not eating what you like all day long truly sucks 😔 but it’s worth it! Pyramid Squats (worked our way up to 100kg) ⁣⁣ 👉2A.3x10 Heel elevated tempo high bar squats, 3 seconds on the eccentric ⁣⁣ 2B. 3x10 Heel elevated high bar squats constant tension ⁣⁣ 👉3A. 3x Pyramid leg press (worked my way up to 150kg PB yippeee) ⁣⁣ 3B: 3x40 BB walking lunges⁣⁣ 3C: 3x10 body weight lunges + 10 squat jumps ⁣⁣ 👉 4A. 2x Leg Extensions; destruction set credit to @bryantkw , 10 reps to almost failure, hold for 3 secs at the top, drop the weight then so another 10, holding for 3 secs at the top, then amrap the first heavier load to failure, drop the weight and amrap again!!! 😭 this fucking burns lol swear to god i was about to cry ⁣⁣ 4B: 2x 10 box jumps (first vid) ⁣⁣ 👉 5. DB Shoulder Press Pyramid ⁣⁣ 👉 6A. 2x10 Incline Lateral Raises Full Rom ⁣⁣ 6B. 2x10 top half ROM incline lateral raises ⁣⁣ 6C. 2x10 Body weight top half ROM incline lateral raises + hold for 10 secs on last rep!⁣⁣ 👉7. 2x3 Dropsets of upright rows (2nd vid) ⁣⁣ Then we finished off with 3 rounds of my favourite ab circuit 🤪⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ And now I’m literally inhaling my peanut butter cup halotop icecream because I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to try it 😂 and hopefully it all goes to growing my quads 🙏🙏🙊⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ As much as I love training by myself, I also love training with others because you end up just hyping each other up to go full ninja mode 😂
