Max effort uppee Straight bar + 44kg chains 147.5kg x 3 (2.5kg pb) Small pb andnormally I shoot for 2.5/5kg only for the 3 rep pb because I technically am gunning for the big 1rm record. But not so today. I had no training partners and a pretty empty gym and the 140kg warm up with the chains on was super tricky to rack out with the way I set up. And since I can only set up specific ways to protect my ever so relocating bicep tendon, I just decided to to run the 3rm and back down to just 100 and just run a ton of down sets to try drill on some back tightness feels at the bottom of my bench (by far what I struggle with the most all this year since the last shoulder strain) Were getting there, confidence is getting better with bench. I know the press is not the issue, it's the lowering and that is feeling better each session....more or less. My girl Jenna has lost a very impressive 14kg and a total of 39.5cm over the last 20 weeks! I am incredibly proud of Jenna and her transformation so far is a real testament to what being consistent can achieve. Jenna puts in the hard work week after week. She is determined and wants to be the best she can be. One of Jenna’s goals was to run a 10km run. The work we did together was to strengthen her glutes, improve her lower body strength endurance and cardiovascular health. Jenna completed her 10km run in November in 1 hour 18 minutes! Jenna certainly has a taste for running now as she is competing in another run this weekend! We have been building Jenna’s foundations focussing on correct technique building up to more compound movements...safe to say Jenna is loving Deadlifts!
