I think too many of us women share this unfortunate experience in common. We post a photo of ourselves, one that we really love and are proud of...then a troll (or someone we actually know) drops a negative comment and tells us what kind of photo we “should” or “shouldn’t” be sharing. I remember being really excited and sharing my first set of boudoir photos on Facebook..it didn’t take long for some random guy to chime in and tell me “I should” lose weight. Ladies...I’d love to know...what’s your favorite way to respond to these comments? Do you engage or do you delete and block? Salamba Bhujangasana or Sphinx Pose is a beautiful posture to connect with your Compassion Seed. Start with hands and knees on the ground for a few cycles of breath. When you are ready curl the toes under and send your hips up and back for Adho Mukha Svanasana or Downward Dog, pedal your feet or find stillnes for a couple breaths and when you are ready return your knees to the ground and bring your forearms in front of you aligning your elbows with your shoulders. Extend your legs to the back pressing the earth with the tops of your feet while engaging the buttocks and lifting up the lower belly. Send your heart in between your arms and take a few breaths here. When you've had enough press your hands to the ground to return to all fours and from there send your hips towards your heels, relaxing your arms to the back and your forehead to the ground. Re connect to your breath and feel the sensations present in your heart space. Benefits: Lengthens the abdominal muscles, Strengthens the spine, Stretches the chest, lungs, and shoulders and soothes the nervous system. 🌷 Salamba Bhujangasana o La Postura de la Esfinge es una hermosa postura que te ayuda a conectar con tu Semilla de la Compasión. Eleva el corazón entre tus brazos y respira hondo aquí. Cuando hayas tenido suficiente presiona las manos hacia el suelo para volver a cuatro puntos y desde allí lleva las caderas hacia los talones, relajando los brazos hacia atrás y la frente hacia el suelo.
