CORRECTIVE BARBELL CURLS by @skiman.factual.fitness Back with another corrective video, in this shot we are visiting the EZbar curl exercise.  Let me know if you like this style of corrective format as I know that visual aids may explain some corrections better. There is a lot going wrong on left and its actually one of most common mistakes that I see when individuals are performing the exercise.  The weight is not executed in a controlled manner, there's no mind to muscle connection going on and then you see we are compensated with swinging using momentum and involving shoulders into the movement when in fact the exercise is suppose to target our biceps. Of course the half repping, mostly due to using too much weight, is a no-no. On the right we are using the correct form without momentum and we are controlling the weight and squeezing at the top of each rep. Also we are getting the full range of motion which will give us the most development on our biceps, BAM! I'm getting stronger! And I'm falling apart... at the same time.... my hands are swollen and stiff at the knuckles so deadlifting is no option today. Good thing I did deads last Friday. Otherwise straps might be an option... squats with rubber bands in EMOM don't use my RA claws and neither do bench and pin presses... getting stronger there too... only the back work required some grip... making it challenging on my grip by adding weight. Hence, getting stronger. I haven't been posting for a while. Honestly just been lazy 😝 If you read my previous post's you know that I was following a full body workout program 3 times per week 🏋️‍♂️ .
