NORWEGEN IV ``````````````````````` Kennt ihr das Gefühl der absoluten Angst? Also nicht die Angst zu scheitern oder etwas falsch zu machen ... ich spreche von absoluter Todesangst, den Adrenalinschub der den Körper an die Grenzen bringt und über den Moment in dem Verzweifelung und Selbstbeherrschung sehr eng bei einander liegen und entscheiden wie die Geschichte ausgeht. Klingt nicht unbedingt wie ein Posting welches man von einer fröhlichen Fotoreise erwartet, aber diese Reise ist eine Adventurereise und ohne ein großes Abenteuer geht es einfach nicht. Unser heutiges Ziel war Reine und der Berg Reinebringen. Das Motiv von oben ist genauso bekannt wie der schwere Aufstieg. Die perfekte Herausforderung für uns abenteuerlustige Reisetiere. Liest man die Erfahrungsberichte im Netz, läge wohl nichts ferner als ein Aufstieg im Winter ... doch das Wetter passte und wir wollten da hoch. Schritt für Schritt und wie im Tunnel kommen wir dem Gipfel näher, mittlerweile hat sich der Weg erst unter tiefem Schnee, später unter einem Eispanzer versteckt .. egal nur noch 100m ... mit einem Blick zurück fällt mir auf das wir uns in 45 Grad Steigung und ohne festen Boden oder der entsprechenden Ausrüstung an der Felswand befinden. Mein ganzer Körper erstarrt .. weiter, abbruch, weiter, abbruch , wei ... verdammt ABBRUCH schreie ich nach hinten. Ab hier beginnt eine Stunde voll Adrenalin, Lebenswille und Konzentration, denn einen vereisten Berg nach oben zu klettern ist die eine Sache, der Abstieg eine ganz andere. Mittlerweile sind wir nach Schweiß, Tränen und gegenseitiger Motivation gesund und munter wieder am Boden. Unsere Gruppe ist heute noch enger zusammen gerückt und auch wenn wir den Gipfel nicht geschafft haben, waren wir dennoch erfolgreich. Ab heute sollte nun entgültig klar sein das unsere Reisen kein Welness-Urlaub ist. Wo Adventure drauf steht, ist auch Adventure drin. Übrigens wir sind heut 20Uhr mal kurz aus unserem Headquarter Live und plaudern ein wenig über die bisherige Reise 🙃🏔 - 📸 Folgt mir und folgt uns auf die letzten 3 Tage hier auf den Lofoten !

Yesterday marked the day of my fifth and final surgery. If there is one thing I learned during one and a half years of recovery it’s that our minds and bodies are much more connected than we think. This deep connection reaches far beyond our comprehension and we have yet to understand the significance of it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Once we go through a traumatic experience we tend to suppress the emotional anguish by distracting ourselves from the terrorizing thoughts or we start viewing ourselves as the victim and start living fearfully. Because of this we are bound to be more susceptible to slight changes in our lives and feel emotionally triggered more easily when we don’t learn to integrate the trauma. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ By taking excessive amounts of antidepressants and painkillers or consume drugs and alcohol to numb the pain, we never get to the root of the real problem. This can result in chronical stress and body aches. We can resolve many problems with acts of mindfulness, like yoga and meditation or simple breathing exercises. Even to put the phone away sometimes and simply be present creates space to be aware of what you are actually feeling. Acknowledgement is the first step - from here on you can move forward, let go of that you struggle with and start recovering. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here’s a thumbs up if you made it to the end of the story 👍🏼
