I’m not going to lie, the pics from this shoot made me want to cry - NOT in a good way 😭. I actually couldn’t believe that the person in these photographs was me or that I that weight I had gained was so obviously visible (I was sucking in my stomach so hard but still had a little pregnant belly). To be fair, I know that I am TOTALLY responsible & it is 100% MY fault (I had just eaten a large pepperoni pizza for lunch 😂), but I don’t want to make excuses or joke about my insane eating habits anymore. . I have honestly been wondering if I’m a binge eater. I LOVE food but I don’t want to use that as an excuse to being unhealthy. You may look at this pic & think “she looks just fine” but I KNOW what happens behind the scenes & how gross I feel. I know what I am capable of & how I constantly self sabotage. I’m ALL for body confidence & loving yourself in every season but I also need to hold myself accountable & to a higher standard. . I know my eating is not healthy or sustainable at the moment - that is what upsets me. And yes, the body I am currently in is a struggle (when I know aesthetics are not important but health) - but I just wanted to be honest about my body image battles (& that I feel like a fraud most of the time) - esp if I want my account to be an encouraging & inspirational platform for holistic health & personal growth. . All I want is to healthy in every area of my life & to feel comfortable and confident in my own skin (which I’m not at the moment). I feel like I constantly fall & fail but I do TRY to pick myself up - & if I’m playing the long game (sustainable health for the rest of my LIFE) I know I have time to figure it all out.
