Keto Sugar Free Cookies If you’re anything like us, winter is the worst time to be eating clean and working out! The cravings are real when you get home in the cold night from work and reach for the broccoli and chicken. We decided to test out this sugar free, gluten free cookie recipe for ourselves and we rate it for getting you through the winter cravings! You will need: 1 cup finely ground almond flour 2-4 tbsp chocolate chips or sugar free chocolate chips 2 tbsp powdered powdered erythritol OR stevia 1/4 tsp salt 1/8 tsp baking soda 2 tbsp coconut oil 1 tsp pure vanilla extract 2-3 tsp almond milk or any milk of choice Method: Preheat oven to 280 degrees. Stir dry ingredients together with a wooden spoon. Add wet ingredients to form a dough. Shape into cookies using a spoon. Place baking paper on a tray and place cookies 5cms apart on tray, bake for 10-12 minutes until cookies have turned golden brown. Let cool for an additional 10 minutes before handling, they are very fragile at first but firm up once cool. Try out this recipe and let us know what you think!

I HATE rest days but there are reasons why we NEED them. Every time we go to the gym for an intense workout, we create microscopic tears in our muscles. This essentially enables our body to adapt and become stronger and more resilient to training stimlulus. Small microscopic tears aren’t a problem but when we overdo our training or don’t have rest days, those intentional “micro-injuries” can easily become real injuries that prevent us from training. Weight training is just the beginning of the muscle-building process. Whilst it might seem counterproductive not to be working our muscles for them to grow, rest is the stage in the cycle where we break down our muscle tissue so that it can adapt to the newly introduced strain and grow back stronger. For our muscles to grow stronger, they need to be allowed sufficient rest and nutrition for the recovery to take place. BABY GOT BACK; and all the lats 🏋🏿‍♀️💪🏼 • • Ok so I definitely take pride when training my back; and I love how strong and muscular it looks 🙌🏽😊 Training back has to be a favourite of mine…and I could literally spend hours in the gym finding different exercises to engage my lats 😜 But alas….my time is poor; and I would probably get hungry in the end because these 12 weeks of lifting @liftbyday programs are definitely giving me a kick up the ass 🍑👀 • • The workout 👇🏽 1. 5X10 medium grip pulldowns 2. 4x10 reverse grip pulldowns 3. 4x8 body weight pull ups 4. 4x8 DB one arm rows 5. 3X10 seated wide grip row 6. 3x10 One arm machine row 🙌🏽 • • When training back; I love to incorporate a WHOLE lot of compound movements….because no one ever got gains from lifting a toothpick👅 So remember to lift heavy, stretch the lats and engage the muscles! The gains will follow 🙏🏼💪🏼 • • Save this workout, get lifting & get BACK to it 💪🏼
