TW. It’s been 5 months since I discharged. Since discharge I gained 1 stone and I’ve lost 2 stone. It’s been fucking hard. Oedema was awful. I didn’t trust in my body. I drank alcohol and binged my way through leave. I piled on the weight and told myself I was happy. I would be happy. I should be happy. I wasn’t happy. I discharged myself from inpatient. I discharged from outpatient. Continued to binge drink. Continued to binge food. I wasn’t happy, I was far from happy. I ate my way out of hospital and back to my family. My bmi went from 15.7 to 22.3. That’s a jump. A massive jump. I pretended I was ok but I wasn’t ok. I’m not ok. I’m fed up of this bullshit and lying. I’m fed up of bp. Yes I haven’t done it since Thursday so that’s a win. But I took lax 3 times this week and I haven’t done that since March. But on Thursday I decided enough was enough. A lightbulb switched. I’ve got this. I can do this. Fuck this illness. I’ve got this. Slow and steady winds the race. . .
